  • Add green tea. Green tea is a known anti-oxidant. Anti-oxidants are the substances that facilitate cell renewal. Research has it that drinking at least three cups of green tea in a day could dramatically help people that suffers from arthritis. Green tea is also the better alternative to coffee and other beverages. Drink green tea and drink healthy.

  • Avoid salt. Salt or sodium is also known to be an arthritis trigger. Cut salt from your diet and cooking. Try to read the amount of sodium in the processed foods that you consume. Try to prepare foods without salt whenever you can. If there are healthier alternatives to salt, use those instead.

  • Cut down on alcohol. While wines are known to be good anti-oxidants, too much of them are not going to be beneficial to you as well. When the need to drink alcoholic beverages arises make sure that you take only red or white wine. Other types of alcoholic drinks should be taken in moderation, if it can’t be removed from your system altogether.

  • Take enough starch and fiber. Foods rich in starch and fiber are good arthritis relievers. Enough of these substances in your body could almost ensure you to be arthritis-free for a considerable period of time.
